Project Overview

OEC Power & Control was engaged to design the power systems and perform techno-economic analysis for LNG-based FSRU power barges, providing reliable power to Greek island grids.

Scope of Work:

  • Complete electrical system design, including MV/HV equipment
  • Interconnection design to shore-based substations
  • Load flow and fault analysis for 150 kV and 40 kV options
  • Compliance with Greek grid codes

  • LNG-fired generation onboard FSRUs
